AI Instagram Caption Generator

An AI Instagram caption generator writes the text that goes under an Instagram post or Reel. You describe the post, pick a tone and a hashtag count, and a language model returns three caption variations. Each has a first line meant to work before Instagram cuts the caption at "more", a short body broken into lines, a call to action, and the hashtags at the end.

It is built for Instagram alone, which is what separates it from the general caption generator on Toolz. That tool writes five shorter captions for any of five platforms. This one writes longer, story-shaped captions and gives you control over the hashtag block: 15-20 hashtags, 5-8 hashtags or none at all. The five tones are Casual and fun, Professional, Inspirational, Witty and Storytelling.

The model runs on the Toolz server. Your description is sent over HTTPS, the server builds the prompt and runs Gemma 3 1B, a small open model from Google, with Ollama, and the captions stream back as they are written. Nothing is downloaded, so it works in any modern browser, phones included. Your post description is used to write the reply and then discarded: it is not stored or logged, not used to train any model, and not sent to Instagram or any third-party AI company.

There are limits. The model cannot see your photo, so it only knows what you write. It has no web access, which means it cannot tell which hashtags are busy or restricted this week, and a 1B model can invent a detail you never mentioned or miscount the hashtags. Read each caption and check the tags in the app before you post.

It is free with no signup, within about 20 runs per 10 minutes. You could write captions by hand, copy a template, or ask a general AI chatbot. This sits in between: three drafts in seconds that you then edit into your own voice.
