AI Quiz Generator

An AI quiz generator writes test questions and an answer key from a topic or a passage of text. You type a subject or paste notes, pick the question type, choose 5, 10 or 15 questions and set the difficulty, and a language model returns a numbered quiz. Multiple choice questions get options A to D with one correct answer, and an answer key at the end gives a one-line explanation for each question.

Teachers use it to draft a quick check after a lesson, students to test themselves before an exam, and trainers to add a short assessment to a workshop. Question types are Multiple choice, True or false, Short answer and Mixed, and difficulty is Easy, Medium or Hard. The most useful mode is pasting your own material: when source text is given, the model is told to ask only about what that text says, so the quiz matches what was taught rather than what the model happens to know.

The model runs on the Toolz server. Your topic or notes are sent over HTTPS, the server builds the prompt and runs Gemma 3 1B, a small open model from Google, with Ollama, and the quiz streams back as it is written. Class notes and student material are used to write the reply and then discarded: they are not stored or logged, not used to train any model, and not sent to any third-party AI company.

Check the answer key before anyone sits the quiz. A 1B model can mark the wrong option as correct, write two answers that are both right, or state a fact that is not true, especially on a bare topic with no source text. It can also return a different number of questions than you asked for. Notes can be up to 8,000 characters, so split a long chapter into sections.

It is free with no signup, within about 20 quizzes per 10 minutes. The alternatives are writing questions by hand, a question bank from a textbook publisher, or a general AI chatbot that may keep your material.
