AI Resignation Letter Generator

An AI resignation letter generator writes the formal letter you give your employer when you leave a job. You fill in your manager's name, your role, your last working day, and optionally the reason you are leaving. Then you choose a tone: Grateful and warm, Neutral and professional, or Brief. The model returns a letter that states the resignation and last day in the first paragraph, thanks the employer, offers help with the handover, and closes on a positive note.

Most people put off this letter because the words feel heavy, not because it is long. The structure is standard for good reason: HR needs the date in writing, your manager needs to know you will help with the transition, and you may want a reference later. The model is told never to criticise the employer, so even the Brief tone leaves the door open.

Resigning is private until you say it out loud, so here is where your details go. The form is sent over HTTPS to the Toolz server, which runs Gemma 3 1B, a small open model from Google, with Ollama, and streams the letter back within a few seconds. Your manager's name, your role and your reason are used to write the letter and then discarded: they are not stored or logged, not used to train any model, and not sent to any third-party AI company.

It has limits. The model does not know your contract, your notice period or local employment law, so check the last working day against what you agreed. Missing details come back as [placeholders]. A 1B model can also phrase something oddly or add a detail you did not give, so read it once as your manager would.

It is free with no signup, within about 20 letters per 10 minutes. The alternatives are a fill-in template, a letter from HR, or a general chatbot. A generated draft that you adjust in two minutes is usually the quickest route. The same letter works pasted into an email if your company accepts resignation by email.
