An AI YouTube channel name generator suggests names for a new channel from its niche, the style of name you want and any words you would like included. A language model returns fifteen ideas, each with one line on why it works, so you are choosing between reasons as well as sounds.

The name is the first thing people see next to every video and the hardest thing to change once an audience knows it. A good one is short, easy to spell and easy to say aloud, because people will hear it in videos and type it into search. The model is told to follow those rules. There are twelve niches to choose from, including Tech and gadgets, Gaming, Cooking and food, Fitness and health, Education, Travel, Music and DIY and crafts, and five styles: Professional and clean, Fun and catchy, Personal brand, Descriptive, and Abstract and unique. Add your own name or a favourite word and the model builds around it.

The model runs on the Toolz server. Your choices are sent over HTTPS, the server builds the prompt and runs Gemma 3 1B, a small open model from Google, with Ollama, and the names stream back within a few seconds. Your ideas are used to write the list and then discarded: they are not stored or logged, not used to train any model, and not sent to any third-party AI company.

The main limit is availability. The model cannot check YouTube, so it does not know whether a name or @handle is already taken, and it cannot check trademarks. Search YouTube for the name and try the handle in YouTube Studio before you commit; the output reminds you to. A 1B model may also suggest a name close to an existing brand, which is worth avoiding.

It is free, with no signup, within about 20 batches per 10 minutes. The alternatives are brainstorming by hand, using your own name, or a general AI chatbot run by a large AI company. For names outside YouTube, the business name and podcast name generators work the same way.
