AI Birthday Wish Generator

An AI birthday wish generator writes short birthday messages for a specific person. You give it their name, how you know them, a style and one or two things about them, and it returns five numbered wishes that differ in length and angle, so you can pick the one that sounds like you and paste it into a card, a text or a comment.

The point is to get past the blank card. 'Happy birthday, have a great day' is what most people write when they run out of ideas at the till. The tool knows nine relationships (Friend, Partner, Mom, Dad, Sibling, Colleague, Boss, Child and Grandparent) and five styles (Heartfelt, Funny, Short and sweet, Poetic and Professional), because a joke that works for a sibling reads badly on a card to your manager. The optional 'Something about them' box is what makes a wish personal: a new job, a milestone age, a running joke, a hobby they never stop talking about.

The wishes are written by Gemma 3 1B, a small open model from Google, running with Ollama on the Toolz server. The form is sent over HTTPS, the server builds the prompt and the wishes stream back as they are written, usually within a few seconds. Nothing is downloaded, so it works in any modern browser, phones included. The name and details you enter are used to write the reply and then discarded: they are not stored or logged, not used to train any model, and not sent to any third-party AI company.

It has limits. A 1B model is small, so it can fall back on stock phrases, misread a detail or invent one, and it only knows what you tell it about the person. The more specific the detail box, the less generic the result. Read the wish before you send it, and change a word or two so it sounds like your own voice.

It is free, no signup, within about 20 generations per 10 minutes. The alternatives are writing the message yourself, which is always best when the words come, a card with a printed verse, or a general chatbot run by a large AI company. This one runs on Toolz's own server and keeps nothing.
