A Pace Calculator works out the relationship between how far you go, how long it takes, and how fast you move. Give it any two of those three - distance and time, distance and pace, or time and pace - and it returns the missing value. Enter a 10K and a 55-minute finish, for example, and it tells you that is a 5:30 per kilometre pace (about 8:51 per mile) at 10.9 km/h. It replaces the error-prone mental arithmetic runners, walkers, and cyclists do to plan a session or predict a race.
Pace and speed describe the same thing from opposite directions. Pace is time per unit of distance - minutes per kilometre or per mile - and is how runners usually think, because it maps directly to what a watch shows each split. Speed is distance per unit of time - kilometres or miles per hour - and is how cyclists and treadmills usually label effort. This tool reports both at once, along with the equivalent pace in the unit you did not pick, so a plan written in min/km is instantly readable by someone who trains in min/mile.
Everything is computed in your browser in plain JavaScript. No times, distances, or training data are uploaded or stored, there is no sign-up, and the calculator keeps working with no connection once the page has loaded - useful at a start line or on a track with poor signal. It is built to be quick on a phone but works equally well on a laptop for planning a training block or a goal race.
Pick whether you want to find pace, finish time, or distance. The tool then asks for the two values it needs to work out the third.
Type a distance and choose kilometres or miles, or tap a race preset for 5K, 10K, half marathon, or marathon.
Fill in a total time as hours, minutes, and seconds, or a pace as minutes and seconds per unit, depending on what you are solving for.
See the calculated pace, time, or distance plus speed in both units and a per-unit split table you can copy into a training log.
Enter any two of the three quantities and the calculator returns the third, so one tool covers race prediction, goal planning, and workout review
Work in whichever unit you prefer and see the equivalent pace in the other, so a plan reads the same to metric and imperial runners
Every result shows pace in min/km and min/mile plus speed in km/h and mph, bridging how runners, cyclists, and treadmills label effort
One-tap presets for 5K, 10K, half marathon, and marathon fill in the exact official distances, including the 21.0975 km half and 42.195 km marathon
Calculate Body Mass Index from weight and height in metric or imperial units, with the WHO category, your healthy weight range, and the exact formula.
Calculate your Total Daily Energy Expenditure and BMR with the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, plus calorie targets and a macro split for any goal
Calculate the duration between two times, add or subtract hours and minutes from a time, and total a list of durations for timesheets.
