What is an AI buyer persona generator?
An AI buyer persona generator turns what you know about your customers into written profiles of typical buyers. You describe the product or service, choose B2C or B2B, and add any notes you have, such as ages, job roles, reasons people buy and complaints you hear. A language model then writes two detailed personas.
Each persona has a name and a one-line summary, demographics or a job role, goals, pain points, buying triggers, objections, where they spend time online, and messaging that would reach them. Marketing teams use personas to agree on who they are talking to before they write ads, emails or a landing page. A shared profile stops the sales team, the writer and the designer from each picturing a different customer.
The model runs on the Toolz server. Your notes are sent over HTTPS, the server builds the prompt and runs Gemma 3 1B, a small open model from Google, with Ollama, and the personas stream back as they are written. Nothing is downloaded, so it works in any modern browser, including phones. Your customer notes are used to write the reply and then discarded: they are not stored or logged, not used to train any model, and not sent to any third-party AI company, which matters if they come from interviews or a CRM.
The honest limit: a persona is only as good as the evidence behind it. The model has no access to your analytics, surveys or the web, so anything you did not supply is a guess. The prompt tells it to mark which points are assumptions and which come from your input, so you know what to validate with real customer interviews or data. Treat the output as a hypothesis to test, not research.
It is free with no signup. The alternatives are a blank persona template, a research agency, or a general AI chatbot that may keep your customer notes. The limit here is about 20 runs per 10 minutes. Once a persona reads true, the elevator pitch and landing page copy generators on Toolz can write to that reader. Press Redo for a different pair of personas.
How to create a buyer persona with AI
Describe the product
Say what you sell and what problem it solves, in a sentence or two.
Pick the market and add notes
Choose B2C or B2B, then add what you know about customers: ages, roles, why they buy and complaints you hear. More evidence means fewer guesses.
Press Create personas
Two full personas stream in as they are written, usually within 15 to 30 seconds.
Check the assumptions
Look for the points marked as assumptions and test them with real customers. Copy the personas or download them as a .txt file.
What the buyer persona generator does
Two personas per run
Two different buyers, so you can compare segments rather than settle on one average customer.
Eight parts each
Summary, demographics or role, goals, pain points, buying triggers, objections, online hangouts and messaging.
B2C or B2B
Consumer personas get demographics and B2B personas get a job role and the context around buying at work.
Assumptions marked
Points not drawn from your notes are flagged, so you know what to check before you rely on them.
