An AI podcast name generator suggests names for a new show from a description of what it is about. You describe the podcast, choose a style and optionally add the host's name, and it returns 15 name ideas, each with a one-line description of the angle it suggests, and a reminder to check the directories for shows that already use the name.

A podcast name has to work in places where you get no second chance: a search box in a podcast app, a friend saying it out loud, a small square of cover art. That is why the tool is told to keep names short, easy to say and easy to search. The five styles pull in different directions. Clever looks for wordplay, Straightforward says exactly what the show is, Personal builds around the host, Quirky goes for memorable over obvious, and Professional suits a company or expert show. Adding the host name gives the Personal style something to work with.

The names are generated on the Toolz server. Your description is sent over HTTPS, the server builds the prompt and runs Gemma 3 1B, a small open model from Google, with Ollama, and the names stream back as they are written. Your show idea is used to write the list and then discarded: it is not stored or logged, not used to train any model, and not sent to any third-party AI company.

It cannot tell you whether a name is taken. The model has no web access, so it cannot search Apple Podcasts, Spotify or domain registrars, and a 1B model will sometimes suggest a name an existing show already uses. Before you commission artwork, search the podcast apps, check the domain and social handles, and look for trademarks in your country. Some suggestions will be weak; press Redo for fifteen more rather than settling.
